Cookie policy
Cookies are short fragments of text that allow the web server to memorize information to be reused during the same visit to the site (session cookies) or later, even days later (persistent cookies). Cookies are stored, based on user preferences, by the single browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone). Similar technologies, such as, for example, transparent GIFs and all forms of local storage introduced with HTML5 can be used to collect information on user behavior and use of services. During navigation, the following types of cookies will be installed by the site: session, analytical and third-party profiling and in the remainder of this document we will refer to cookies and all similar technologies by simply using the term "cookie".
Based on the characteristics and use of cookies, we can distinguish different categories:
1) Technical cookies: these are used only to "carry out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service". They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which guarantee normal navigation and use of the website; functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria in order to improve the service rendered to the same. For their installation, the prior consent of the users is not required, while the obligation to provide the information pursuant to art. 13 of the Code, which the site manager will be able to provide in the manner he deems most suitable, if he uses only such devices.
2) Profiling cookies: these are used to create user profiles and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while surfing the net. Due to the particular invasiveness that such devices can have in the private sphere of users, European and Italian legislation provides that the user must be adequately informed about their use and thus express their valid consent. Article 122 of the Code provides that "the filing of information in the terminal equipment of a contractor or user or access to information already archived are permitted only on condition that the contractor or user has given their consent after having been informed with the simplified procedures referred to in article 13, paragraph 3″ (art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Code). This site uses profiling cookies.<h4>
3) Third-party cookies: By visiting the website you can receive cookies from sites managed by other organizations (third parties), such as for example the scripts or social plugins of Facebook, Instagram, Google. These are parts of the page visited, generated directly by the aforementioned sites and integrated into the page of the host site. The most common use of social plugins is aimed at sharing content on social networks. The presence of these involves the transmission of cookies to and from all sites managed by third parties. The management of information collected by "third parties" is governed by the relative information to which reference is made. To ensure greater transparency and convenience, the web addresses of the various information and methods for managing cookies are shown below.

This site also includes certain components of third-party analytical cookies transmitted by Google Analytics: a web traffic analysis service provided by Google. Also in this case these are third-party cookies collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host site (performance cookie). Google Analytics uses cookies to collect and analyze anonymous information on website usage behaviour, including the user's IP address. This information is collected and processed in order to draw up reports regarding the activities on the websites themselves. Google does not associate the IP address with any other data held by Google nor does it try to link an IP address with the identity of a user. Google may also disclose this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. This site uses the Google analytics tool to monitor or collect personally identifiable information. The user can selectively disable the action of Google Analytics by following the instructions specified at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout .
Session cookies remain active only until the browser is closed or any log-out command is given. Persistent cookies remain active when the browser is closed and are also available on subsequent visits by the user. In some cases a deadline is set, determined by the server at the time of their creation, in others the duration is unlimited until removed by the user.
The user can decide whether or not to accept cookies using the settings of his browser. The usability of public content is also possible by completely disabling cookies, while the total or partial disabling of technical cookies can compromise the use of site functions reserved for registered users. However, disabling "third-party" cookies does not affect the navigability of the sites. The setting can be defined specifically for different websites and web applications. Furthermore, browsers generally allow you to customize the settings for the different types of cookies, define whether or not to accept them and proceed with their removal.
